Not that I watch American Idol or really care about it, but this article at CNN struck as amusing. It states, "The winner gets a recording contract and instant fame." How exactly does the instant fame part work? Is it like instant rice, just add to water and boil? Or is there REALLY a giant television-political-alien conspiracy and someone decides who gets fame and who doesn't. No fame for you today!
